BUCS successes for York St John

The results from Wednesday pushed the University five places up the overall BUCS table to 82^nd place.

York St John is currently ranked third highest in the country in terms of improvement in the rankings from last season and this season.

Other highlights included:

• The Netball team have claimed a premier league play-off place following a draw against Liverpool John Moores.
• The men’s Rugby League team have won their league with two games to spare.
• Women’s Rugby Union is unbeaten all season in its BUCS fixtures and won against Sunderland, who they lost to at Varsity, by beating them 22 – 7.
• Men’s Futsal is one win away from being promoted to Division 1. If they are promoted they will be the second highest ranked York St John team, after Netball 1.
